It is a
passion of mine to help other people. I feel a great sense of pride when I share what I have with those who are less fortunate
than I.
At a young
age, I mailed Unico to see how many bags of rice it would take to feed the hungry in Ethiopia.
I volunteered
in the Salvation Army when I was 11.
Telemarketed
on behalf of the Red Cross when I was 11 and 12.
Tried to
volunteer at the Humane Society when I was 13 (They said I was too young) so I started donating to the Humane society when
I was 18.
I have volunteered
at a soup kitchen in Toronto, donated to many causes and most recently I am fostering 3 children from India, Mongolia and
Ecuador.
All of what
I have done to date has been in my own back yard, so I have made a decision to fly abroad and help those who really need an
extra hand.
In April
I will be spending 3 weeks in inner India, in either Rajasthan or Himachal.
